I Dont really no why i.m writin this post at this point of my life..
Yes i feel like writin something about this human ..
may be some four years back she is the first person with whom i actually told my passion towards cinema… ofcourse used to tell many short stories for her before ..she gave me a dirty look which i still remember as if i.m going to commit a big crime and advised rather in a harsh way to look after my studies as she felt that mine wasnt a right age to take a decision ( I have all plans of joining some local enginnering college to take up film making very seriously though i end up joining BITS thats all together a different story) ..those days were really tough …
After that i started moviesnlife an independent shortfilm making unit and made some 8 shortfilms worked under different departments ,won few awards and ofcourse a viewership of a 60k for all our unconventional works through many mediums and life is taking all different a big turn now after working for some 2 years balancing acads ( Atleast i think so )..So why did i post all this before ? when i look back i found very few people who actually encouraged or concerned about me in this journey ..one of them is dis lady, I badly miss her presence when i.m actually doing the things which i love/like , in the process of proving that i can make a good work of art to her i actually worked so hard and for that i can thank her ..
Priyanka S now i really admit that i have learnt many things from you and i hope you ll keep inspiring throughout your journey though i really dont knw where you are heading …
Lots of love and many more happy returns of the day ,rock on !! I cant give you any bday presentime dis t but i promise i will blog very regularly atleast for you …

Experimental Cinema -feb 15 !!!
So here I am finally after a long gap which I myself took intentionally …!!…I never wrote anything on this blog just for the heck of it !!. Its been a beautiful journey so far !! …done 3 shortfilms…one of them crossed 20k views (I firmly believe view count never gives the insight of the quality of the shortfilm !! )…moviesnlife which was started exactly 2 year back hd done 6 shortfilms , one music video ,one documentary on nature !! …
we got appreciation at some shortfilm film festivals , awards at some film making portals and many beautiful/bitter memories which i would like to share in the coming days !! ..so why i.m posting after a long tym jus to remind those very few people who follow my blog that i will be blogging regularly from feb 15 !!…
whats with feb 15 ???..
Many wont believe the fact that i dint possess any camera till now even though i hv done some shortfilms !! ..people wont believe until and unless u hd achieved something more or less …so finally i asked my parents confidently that i want DSLR to do things from now on …so here i will get a canon550D this january !! ..So i will start shooting whateva i will get from feb …and will make as many shortfilms as possible without comprosing on the quality front !! ..
So i.m starting a new group under moviesnlife by the the name “Experimental cinema “…and will be doing shortfilms from feb !! …
And the first short that will be hitting youtube this feb from “Experimental cinema ” is by the title “KILL HIM !! “…Which will be a shortfilm with minimal dialogues ..i think thts a good way to experiment !!

“Plan-B”… Idea and Execution …
IDEA One day i suddenly got a call from a friend tellin that he got injured while takin part in a bday celebration …that day i got dis idea of creating a hype for bday as a part of the shortfilm..but finally i went dis bday thing as the central idea ….i believe tht the “Plan-B” is a apt title as the B fially refers to a bday celebration …
EXECUTION
Shooting a chase scene was the most toughest part of dis shortfilm,the major treat is that we want the chase to be lil shaky but at the same time it should be very professional , finally some how we succeded ,no part of the video is slowdown jus for the sake of effect ,tried our best to make the chase part as natural as possible
And the camera we used is NikonD3100, used wide lens to shot the chase part ,the thing is that the themes (color correction) which we applied for the film made a lot of difference ,it had nothing to do with the cam …jus want to clarify this thing coz exactly an year back when i started doin shortfilms i used to feel bad tht i dint hv a proper camera to shoot the things ,at the end of the day if u hv a regular 12mp handycam we can do wonders with proper editing ….i guess for any shortfilm maker who dont hav any proper resources or ppl to act ,its better to rely on software ,which we usually do ..!!

people are going crazy about the much awaited world cup ths days , my granddad used to watch cricket like anything,he used to analyse every bit of tht game…i still remember the semi final match(1999) between australia and south africa ….tht was the match which i enjoyed most watchin wid my grand dad…
life has changed after ,we used to spend very less time together coz of his ill ness and health issues ,whateva it may be whenever any international cricket match is goin he used to update me wid all the details post match..things gone worse after sometime as he ws gettin weaker day by day …but the intrest towards the game was neverthless the same…IPL ,International cric,domestic season whatever it may be if it s cric its done !!!

mom called me suddenly and explained the situation of granddad that he s getting very weak day by day …he want me to talk ….my mom gave mobile to him …i started the conversation “how are u grandpa?”..he interrupted me in the middle and started tellin something ,its very difficult to understand as his voice was completely gone,when i asked my mom wht he want to tell..she kept her ear towards him n then explained me wht he wants to tell..SANGAKKARA DINT BAT WELL TODAY , SRILANKANS ARE NOT UPTO THE MARK..i guess thrs some srilankan match tht day ,thts his intrest towards the game, those are the last words which he spoke to me though i din understd any part of it…
today when i.m reading many analysis about the game in this world cup.it jus remind me of my grand dad….miss u grandpa….
After ” In search of myself”..??
I know its been a long time since the last time i have written something in this place..
first thing first it took lot of time to me to digest grandpa’s sudden demise …when i look back now its a really tough time back then…then to make myself very busy i started learning technical aspects of film making(editing)in which i was least intrested..in the mean time ISOM sent for many film festivals ofcourse i dint win any worthy prize but it was screened before some good people…the only reason the movie didnt consider for any award r something is tht it dint hd any original score(music part)..then wht next??…the question which is usually goin through my mind 24*7…as every1 knws that film making is combined effort of many people…then we the team started working on a subject named BOOK OF DREAMS which need lot of visual effects n sum very good locations shoot..then i dropped that idea as we dont hv enough equipment to shoot that(like green screen etc..) …then i started writting many different things in telugu jus see whether i can write sth very engagin without gettin bored and dramatic…finally written a small story of two friends completely in telugu and started narrating to different sections of people from my friends in the campus to the watchman in my friends apt jus 2 watchout their reaction while i.m narrating..then finally i find 2 of my friends for tht charecters…
then the eternal question again comes to my mind….
CAMERA?? n dis tym budjet for heavy lighting as the mvie is completely shot night on a apartment terrace..MONEY?? i.m really confident that i can found sumone dis tym, i.m nt permitted 2 use d word production as it ws a very short film but i need some one dis tym to gimme sum amount so tht i will shoot wid a gud canon camera dis tym..now i dunno hw will i pull d things bt i think nthn comes before passion and our conviction………so trying hard to set the things as soon as possible…

1:00 PM
Someone was hitting my door very hard; I thought that was some of my friends who came to wake me up and take me to the lunch………… I opened the door……. Shocked to see our hostel chowkidar (the one who sees that everything is going fine in our hostel) in front of me……..he ran into my room and started searching every corner of the room, one thing I clearly understood that he was desperately searching for some strange things in my room, I dint know what was going on, he dint talk to me…….. He called someone and told the other person that he dint find anything strange……. I asked him what was going on, he dint give me any reply but he ordered me to meet chief warden (who teaches us physics this semester) at 4 in the evening……. I myself very confused with all these things happening around me….. I checked my mobile to see the time, shocked to see 8 missed calls and 14 new messages , myself felt very bad for keeping my mobile in silent mode……… I made a call to one of my friend…….. he told me to come to his room immediately, I had my bath and went to his room, the environment there was very serious , 5 of my friends were discussing something very seriously , I waved at them, they scolded me very badly , the reason was that I failed to respond for their calls…………

I knocked the door and went inside, he was in a very bad mood and looking as if he was about to kill us, I didn’t even dare to look at him, but after few seconds I found something on his table, which I had seen before……… that thing took me into the flash back and I immediately came out of it…..yes!! It was the diary of my friend Nikhil….. He showed us one of its page …we were shocked to see few lines of that page …the lines were
“Today was very exciting I tasted vine and had a puff of cigar for the first time in my life …. I was not the only one rahul, venkat, vakul, rohit accompanied me!!”
Shocking..!! Is the one word which describes our situation……..

Nikhil’s room
I was trying to write something for my blog…….. But after repeated attempts, I myself felt it was not working, and came out to refresh so that any new thought may flash through my mind……
I took my bottle and started walking slowly to have some water……… suddenly one of my friend rohit called me, we went to Nikhil’s room, I asked rohit what was going on? He answered
“Dude… we are excited so we are trying to have some beer today which we never had and also a cigar “
Ok, point noted…….. Initially I was a bit hesitant but I also tried a bit of it…. I dint like the taste at all and came out of that room as I was feeling quite uncomfortable in that smoke
After couple of days Nikhil suffered from fever badly, his father came to see him , Nikhil’s room was very untidy , his father tried to set all the things in right place……… in this process he had gone through all the shelves where he found his son’s diary…… out of curiosity he opened it and that changed our lives ……..
He immediately called our chief warden………. In a deep depression , he scolded our warden what he was doing when the students are freely taking alcohol in hostel …….our chief warden took the diary and promised Nikhil’s father that it won’t be repeated again……. After that he studied the entire diary in one night and ordered our chowkidar to check all of our rooms …….
That was the story that happened before

He shouted at us so hard that fellow students who were passing that side were peeping into the chamber………….every one of us apologized and said that this won’t be repeated once again….. He took the contact number of our parents and warned us that if the same thing is repeated again we will b sent out of the campus
From that day all our diaries will have the same thing written in it
“Today was very hectic
I woke up at 6:30 AM,
Our class started at 8:00 AM,
Had my Lunch at 1:00 PM,
Final lecture ended at 5:00 PM,
Got to study so much,
No time to write diary also”
(We write the same thing every day just for the sake of our convenience and protection, none of us changed after that incident, we are still the same onesJ)
P.S that was first and last time I had tasted beer
I never touched it again as I feared that it may create waves in my mind and act as a big tide in my life
HANDYCAM STORY…..
I personally believe that the art of telling story cant be taught in any book or material…the only way to know the art of film making is just by making a film (a video in some cases)….
May 24th
I went to a Studio to rent a high definition (HD) handy-cam to shoot a film. But the guy told me that it costs heavy price to rent a cam and advised me to proceed with any other regular handy-cam (i told him before that i cant afford that much money to shoot the film ). I silently came out of the studio. Silently walking on the road near the studio and thinking of different sources, I had no other option at that time. So I called up my friend Avinash that I desperately needed a cam and he told me that he had a Sony cybershot cam. I told him that i’ll meet him the next day and cut the phone. I just went to my friend Rahul’s home. He was the only one who knows my interest towards film making. He was asking about the rent of the cam. I told him the details and I also told him that we can’t afford that much. He asked me to narrate the short story once again. I narrated him before but i dont know why he asked me again. But without questioning I narrated the entire short script clearly. He told that my idea was good and at the same time he was also thinking different ways to get a handy-cam. I told him that Avinash had a 12mp(mega pixel) cyber shot cam. Rahul told that it wont have the zoom effect while taking the video and also it won’t suit for taking the movie. I was disappointed a bit but we started thinking different ways suddenly Rahul called different people indeed our friends who had good handicam’s …we called two or three people but everyone were little apprehensive that any damage to their product will cost them too much and at the same time their parents wont allow them to lend their cam…
11:30pm…
rahul’s cousin SRIKANTH whom we call babai silently listenin to our discussion bt didnt talk anythin ….he came to me n askd “u want a handicam rite??”….i immediately answered ..”ya desperately..”…he jus walked out of d room n went to his room searchd his room n finally brought a thing …its nthng but the intrument which helped me to see my idea on screen…THE HANDyCAM...i completely bowled by his act..i thanked him n askd him abt tht handicam…it was old handicam brought 7 years back…we jus checkd the quality of d video in tht handicam…ofcourse its not tht gud as i xpectd…but i knw i can use it in my own way…he told tht he doesnt need it knw n also advised me to shoot in d early mornin to get the good video quality as the cam doesnt hav d extra edge of havin or applyin effects while capturin the video…whatever it is i had a handicam knw….i jus called my frn avinash to come early in d morng at 5 to my place….for the next 5 days we used to shoot sum really stupid things to check the video quality n seein in our desktop n checkin whthr the quality was good or not…finally we’r satisfied wid tht handicam n finalized tht handicam to shoot our short film…although we didnt like the video quality compltely but we’r lil confident tht we can pull the thngs easily if we shoot d entire film in d early mornings…
i thank srikanth for giving his handicam to shoot my first short film…we startd our shoot on jun 2 n complted by jul 4 we used to shoot early in d mornings from 5 to 8….now when i go through the entire videos we shot..am nt satisfied cmpletely but am proud that i cmpltd it..i dont knw whethr am successful r not but am happy tht i cmpltd shoot wid d limited resources i had…..
p.s :am uploadin some wall photos of IN SEARCH OF MYSELF…i thank hari preetham(hp) n sharath chandra my friends for spending their tym in editin the pics….

PERFORMANCES:
abhishek bhachchan as beera exceled once again in this madras talkies production….vikram as dev pratap done justice to his role….aishwarya rai as ragini is complete treat to watch….she potrayed her charecter that well that the star in her is completely unrecognizable …..rock solid performance by aishwarya rai….govinda is adequate …among others priyamani gave excellent performance although her screen time is limited….
SCREENPLAY & DIRECTION:
the length of the movie is barely 130 minutes.. the screen play slows down continously at many times and that is the main problem of d movie…the direction is good in second half…but the first half offers nothin new…expect for the few scenes here n there…
OTHER DEPARTMENTS: music by academy award winner a.r.rahman is brilliant so as the back ground score….but there is too much of spanish tinge in the background music…cinematography by santosh sivan is stunning….editing is go…special mention should be given to the costume designer SABYASACHI
ANALYSIS:
the high point that we usually experience in mani ratnam movies is the emotional impact that he leave on the viewer through out d movie…but this time that impact is missing big time!!!
VERDICT: one time watch……

The point of money…….
my pockets r mostly empty many a times….all the views i express through this post r my perception of the most powerful thing in this world>>>>>money(of course many a times i don’t have ….)…..
everyone say money can make or break human relationships…..but i don’t hav any idea of emotional impact of having money….whenever i visit a good multiplex to catcH a movie ,i make sure that my pocket is fully charged, otherwise i just sit infront of my laptop n watch someother movie……..whenever i dont hav money i jus dream of having some money n thinking of many ways to spend that money…..in the processing of dreaming i myself make a good plan to spend the money i hav next time…..when ever i got a chance(hav money)…i spend it in my own way…
the high point of money is that …..if u don’t know what to do with it, it’s useless to have it with u….whenever i go to any restaraunt wid a limited money i will be having an complete idea of what to eat……in the sameway if my pocket is fully charged i wil be having complete idea of what to do with it….( i wil be ordering an other good food item)……whatever the money i had i wil be havin a complete idea of what to do with it, much before it comes to me…..i had seen many people in my life having tons of movie but doen’t have any idea of spending it…..in that case it doen’t matter whether u hav a rupee or hundred crores….it’s completely worthless……ofcourse there are many other realities attached with it……
as far other realities like saving the money is concerned….i myself go very philosophical….(no one knows when he wil end his life…then why to save this stupid paper:-)……..
The story of a “RESURGENT”….
I really don’t know the meaning of the word RESURGENT.. …….
WHAT IS RESURGENT MEANT TO ME?
it was during my intermediate final exams……..I used to be in home, all the day……in the mean time preparation holidays started for my sister for her end sem xams..the word preparation holidays was seriously taken by this one and she used to study all day long…she had a habit of studying in a group…for the purpose of group study some friends of my sister used to visit my home…
my sister used to introduce me to every one of her frnds who come to our house……of course all my sisters frnds whom i am introduced ,treat me as their brother….
one day as usually i was playing wid my sister mobile…searching all the song tracks and images in the gallery…suddenly I got struck by a image…when I asked my sis about the one in the image…she told that the name of girl in the image is “ANUSHA” and she is her friend…
as ANUSHA stays away from my home she never came to my home…… i was completely under the magic of that photograph..the person is not very beautiful..but something in that photograph used to force me to see it again and again..
I never thought of her coming to my home…but one day when I was reading in my room suddenly she came for some xerox papers…when i was observing her, suddenly my sister looked at me….she ordeered me to bring some water for her…i acted like a person as if i had a hearing problem…i ran out of my house, fearing that my sister will introduce me to her in a brotherly relation…i reached my upstairs watching whats happening outside…suddenly my sister and her were going out with a bunch of books in their hand…
they went for some xerox copies of their textbook, I came back home..much to my surprise I find the mobile of her in my sisters room..i opened the gallery …i find some good images of her…i myself took my mothers mobile and want to transfer some images…
RESURGENT is the name of her’s mobile’s bluetooth device…the word just get noted by me….she came for another two times to our home…but everytime I used to go out….
she is the first person in my life…with whom my relation gets confused verymuch…i cant give any name to that…
as my sister completed her graduation..i never get a chance to see her again..
as a tribute to her i use the word RESURGENT as many times as possible in my daily life…
for me, the meaning of the word RESURGENT is her image….
the point of fear……………
emotions rule the world….any emotion carry lot of things in it……for example when u take love as an emotion it can literally break or make the world….the same goes wid lust,power……..out of all emotions the one which is most underrated is FEAR….the thing is that out of all emotions fear is the most valuable one…..valuable in the sense it is percieved and used by everyone in their own way….
if we take the case of love…its perception doesn’t change much from person to person…but when it comes to fear the entire scenario wil change…….fear of xperiencing strange things…..fear of getting unnoticed,fear of breaking or making a relationship...the list never ends..…..
The best example for this can be presented through a famous telugu usage who’s rough translation is….
“Why use the Brahmastra(The ultimate weapon bestowed upon warriors by Brahma) upon sparrows?”
what i want to prove is that fear is the costliest of all emotions that we experience in our day to day life….
Fear the ultimate weapon…tool….has power disproportionate to its use….
The day to day petty issues like studies,tests,interviews do not require this….
fear not the ordinary…for there are far more bigger things awaiting its presence….
P.S:The post indeed is very confusing….but it deserves some thought..

Done with chemistry-1. As I didn’t have anything to eat in the morning, I was very hungry. Came straight to the mess after the completion of exam, had something in my plate and sat somewhere in the mess. I was very hungry that I couldn’t notice what was happening in the surroundings. Suddenly I heard a sound of cry from a nearby table. Turned my head back and experienced a great shock…...

Struggling hard to study chemistry. I went to Sarath’s room to see the condition there..everyone was serious there. There were 4 people in the room. I asked them …” Yo !! howz chemistry going?”…all of them said that they started just now. Suddenly Sarath interrupted them(which always and obviously happens during exams time) and asked me about the movie that I watched last night. I told them that the movie was damn good, I narrated some part of the story in a very interesting manner. And obviously when a movie narration is going on, Movie lovers don’t care about the remaining world, which at present is the EXAM world. All were very interested to watch the movie. But the thing is that the movie had only one show in a famous multiplex. And the movie will be replaced the very next day as there were many big films lined up that weekend. They all knew that truth, but they couldn’t do anything but to feel bad that they were missing this cinematic experience on the big screen. Suddenly something struck Sarath which showed the happiness of a poor student when he tops the exam. He screamed out of joy and happiness ….“IDEA”...The idea that really changed his life…
IDEA:
” We are going to the movie now!!!!!!”…Sarath hollered in a joyful manner…
Anil one of my friends expressing his big question mark in his face by raising his eyebrows and pointing his thumb UP and waving it up and down, asked Sarath…
“how come re?…we have a Chemistry final tomorrow and we didn’t start anything yet?”
Sarath, with a face showing A Successful Possible Scenario, went like this ” See 5 of us will be seating in the same room tomorrow…we’ll go early so that we will sit in a row….the paper pattern is out…48 out of 120 are objective….we will write in such a way that we will try to score at least 30, so that we will get a comfortable C grade ….”
Hemanth interrupted and asked sharath ” You are tellin that we are going to movie today…then how can we score 30 mrks without studying IDIOT?”
Sarath laughed at him n replied in a high voice…” WE WILL COPY IDIOTS !! You don’t need to be bitsians for that. We learnt a lot in our intermediate itself “…
Hemanth asked one tricky question ” If all 5 of us are going out…then who will study so that we can copy from him..?? “
sarath replied ” Who told u that all 5 0f us are going ? “
” Then who will stay here and study chemistry… your FATHER eh?”..Hemanth asked again always trying to show his sarcastic mentality even in a serious situation…
Sarath is continuously looking at me…laughing in himself …I could see a sarcastic evil behind that smile..
He then went on like this ” Venkat is not accompanying us..as he already saw the movie once…He will stay back in the campus and complete chem and we will copy the objective paper from him… That wud be very fine… and satisfying “…
Then everyone there ordered me ” Venkat…. Study.!!! Or else… U know …. We all …. fail… then We all…. Knife… Kill !!!” and they went out happily to watch my favorite movie. I studied chemistry the whole night and completed most of the syllabus. I was confident that i will be able to pull the objective paper easily…

We entered the exam hall exactly @9pm , sat in a row. The objective paper was already kept on the table by our invigilator. I got answers for most of the questions and wrote the answers in the answer paper provided. I put my answer paper beside so that Sarath, who was sitting behind me will copy the answers. He’s a speedster. He copied all the options from my answer paper in less than two mins. He handed over his answer paper to the invigilator and took the subjective paper. As the subjective was tough, am trying to attempt some questions in the subjective part. But these fellows were really crazy. As soon as the subjective question paper was given, they left the exam hall, returning an empty subjective answer sheet. I tried to attempt some questions. Succeeded to some extent..
BACK TO MESS
11:50pm
Sarath was crying like a small kid. I didn’t know the reason properly and at the same time Hemanth was laughing uncontrollably. I asked Hemanth what had happened. He told me the reason …I was shocked for a while…but couldn’t stop laughing after knowing the reason...”THERE WERE TWO SETS”...Hemanth hollered out loud enjoying the inability of Sarath while laughing. Sarath didn’t notice that thing. He copied all the same options from my answer book, Hemanth copied from Sarath too. But he is safe because we both got the same set. The condition of Anil was same. He copied from Hemanth but he got a different set just like Sarath and the chain is that the other guy who sat behind Anil was saved as he got the same set as of mine. I was laughing out loud holding my stomach not able to stand properly looking the faces of Anil and Sarath….Damn funny!!!!..
The incident was funny, but the “IDEA” really changed the life of Sarath. Hemanth and I got 40 out of 48 and we were safe. Sarath and Anil got -6. Both went into the negatives. His grade fell down from C to D. That really made a huge difference. He fell into ACB (Academically Critical background) and that’s all a different story…
P.S: After that we used to be very cautious during exams (especially Objective)!!!!….
KITES movie review…..
romance is the flavour of this season…..after a long gap of 2 years hrithik roshan is back with his kite…rakesh roshan handling the writting department and anurag basu after success of life in a metro took the director’s cap…obviously the expectations are sky high on this hrithik roshan’s starrer….with a universal plot,the film tried to pull the barriers of the indian cinema with parallel release in english and hindi languages…the movie mainly aimed at global audience and for multiplex one’s….
PLOT:love has no language barriers…the single point on which the story had been written…a mexican girl falling in love with a american born indian guy….they both think that earning money is the way to slove their problems…they both fall in love ….what follows next is the series of fights and some beautiful crafted action sequences and some romantic scenes between the lead ones…what happened to them at the end is an another story…
PERFORMANCES:hrithik’s performance was beyond brilliant…the way he carried the film on his shoulder is highly appreciable….watchout for the pathetic scenes,hrithik was simply brilliant…spanish girl barbara mori though looked little older to hrithik performed really well..the way she enacted her role is highly commendable..out of others kangana stands out in her limited role…the chemistry between kangana and hrithik is delight to watch..all the other actors done justice to their roles…
SCREENPLAY& DIRECTION:as the story had a single point to tell….the director anurag basu tried everything to give a releastic feel to the film…the screenplay is beautiful going back n forth everytime..the length of the movie is barely two hours…direction and scrrenplay are good in the first half of the film ,direction should have been better in the second half..overall one can’t blame anurag basu for the final output of the film…
OTHER DEPARTMENTS:AYANAKA BOSE(cinematographer) walk away with all the honours for her work in this film….the way she captured the exotic locales of mexico and america was really wonderful…in some parts of the movie her work dominated even the lead charecters…one can’t stop saying everytime..”wow,the cinematography was beautiful”…editing was very good in the first half of the film,but it should havebeen much better in the second half….music is alright but what stands tall is the background score given by salim-sulaiman …production values by fimkraft productions are top-notch,one can feel the richness in every frame of the film.
ANALYSIS:first fourty minutes of the movie is very fast paced…the way hrithik’s charecter is written and introduced was very good,the movie started to lose its tempo mainly due to the lack of much needed detailing…… the much talked chemistry between the lead pairs was not that great on screen..the second half of the movie seems to be dragged for most of the time with unnecessary action sequences….the climax was shot in a releastic way but before that audiences lost their intrest…the main reason for that
1.the scenes between the lead pairs was funny intially but got repetitive after sometime ….
2.most of the conversations are in english which doesn’t go well with the common audience….
3.the much highlighted chemistry of the lead pair was not that great..
4.the second half mostly filled with some un-neccessary scenes…
the plus and minus point of the movie is its plot…
FINAL WORD:the first half of the movie is good filled with the right ingridients,the second half wasn’t a smooth ride…watch kites for hrithik’s performance,high quality taking,exotic locales which you had never seen….but don’t expect too much..it may dissapoint you… whatever may be the output , roshans walk away with all the honours for raising the bar of indian cinema to the next level….

MY PROGRAMME FUCK-UP’S……
7:30am
sunday..
4th april 2010.
was thinking whether to attempt my computer programming lab test or not…i was on the verge of missing the test…suddenly one of my friends came shouting and spread the rumour that the instructor will give an NC (NOT CLEARED) to the candidates who wil miss the lab test…i dont want this stupid subject again in the next semister….so i decided to attempt the test….the test was an open book one….so i immediately copied one programme from my friends notes and got myself ready to execute the programme which i copied from his notes…
8:00 am
the test started ….evryone was given a programme ….i created a file and started copying the programme which i already copied from other guy…it was really a tough job..it took me half an hour…then i was looking around …everyone were busy executing their programmes…the test duration was one hour…after some time our instructor shouted in a huge way TIME UP!!!!…
now the actual story started….
9:15pm
one instructor whom i didnt know came to check my programme….she asked me about algorithms and other things for some time…within few mins she decided that i dont know anything about the subject….then she asked me in a lighter vein…WHICH SECTION ARE U?….i didnt rememberd the section num but i told her that i belonged to MANJU CHOWDARY’S section…she opened her eyes for a while…but didnt react that much…she was laughin for herself….i didnt understand what was happenin around me…she awarded me 20 marks out of 60…and took my signature…and went laughing after the evaluation…
9:30am
my lab got completed …am very happy that i got 20 marks(much more than what i xpected)…one of my classmates who was sitting in the same lab came out….out of curiosity he asked my marks…i told him that i got 20…then came the shock for me!!!…he asked me what i had done…i told him the truth that i copied one programme….i guess he may studied hard for this exam…and in a deep frustation that he got only 20 marks(he decided that he desreve more than me after knowing my marks)…he shouted in a high voice…..”hey this MANJU CHOWDARY is evaluating in a lite manner”….now its my turn to open my eyes….now i got a clear idea,that why my evaluator was laughung when i told her that i belonged to her section…but never seen her in the entire semister…i was laughing myself and returned back to my room…..
whatever it may be …i fucked up the entire programming in the two semisters…

“IN SEARCH OF MYSELF “……is the story of a guy who had everthing in life…..suddenly he started to feel that something is missing in his life…and after some point of time ….that very thought of something has taken all the joy in his life….he desperately wanted to know what that something is…..he tried in many ways but couldn’t find the answer …..he is not happy by the way his life is going on…. he doesn’t feel like leading the life…caught in-between confusion and frustration…..but after long journeys and the silent walks, he finally found the missing thing that he has been searching for …the missing thing is……….

everyone celebrate their b’day in their own way….what doesn’t change is the same old greetings by the every other person around them…..this time i tried to greet one of my friend in a different way by writing few words for her on a paint done by my friend Dennis……this was the only time where i took lot of care to pen a few words as the receiving person had a big hand in writing…i think i succeeded to some extent……i want to share this greeting wid everyone to showcase the truth that words n art when blended perfectly can do wonders……..
VARUDU MOVIE REVIEW……
villain kidnapping the heroine,hero goes in search of heroine….hero kills the villain in front of heroine…story ends...the theme of this type are attempted many a times by many film makers….film makers are different but the audience who are repeatedly xperiencing the same story lines are one n the same….the movies with a single conflict point like this should be dealt with much care….the director completely misjudged the taste of audience this time….
VARUDU dissapoints the viewer with its wafer thin story line and slow pace….first 50 min of the movie completely deals in setting the premise for the entire movie….the director this time choose TRADITIONAL MARRIAGE as the premise but his arrow miss the target much before interval….the viewer feel like xperiencing the same story but with different lead actors….there is no confusion in the mind of the audience as they completely know what is going happen in the second half of the movie….so naturally the intrest is all gone in the first half itself……
PERFORMANCES:ALLU ARJUN as SANDEEP proved his mettle once again as an actor….he showed tremondous pain through his eyes..the story is set in such a way that arjun appears in every frame of the film….he SHINES again as an actor this time……the only thing missing this time is a chance to show case his fantastic dancing skills( blame music director for that)…ARYA as DIWAKAR is complete treat to watch…one cannot xpect any other actor for this role after seeing this movie,it is refreshing to see arya crooning many sanskrit lines with extreme ease(thanks to ravi shankar for lending his voice for him),after BOMMALI its the time for the word KUSHMAANDA(i don’t know meaning though)….Debutant BHANUSRI MEHRA doesn’t hav great look but her acting provesses can be clearly felt….more scenes between the hero and heroine should have been done favour to the film…the chemistry between the lead pairs is absolutely great…watch out for the lip lock scene in second half….it is shot in highly authentic way… other actors done justice to their role…
SCREENPLAY AND DIRECTION:GUNA SHEKaR fails this time again after SAINIKUDU…the entire marriage eposide is beautifully captured but the mood is not set in correct way….even the screenplay is not that good….in one word the screenplay is damn predictable for an average movie buff….the director scored some high points in framing some adrenaline pumping action sequences especially in the scenes post interval……the less said about the climax is the better…
OTHER DEPARTMENTS:the music scored by mani sharma goes fine with the situation but not upto the mark…..but his re-recording is top notch especially in the action sequences and in the scenes containing hero and heroine….watch out for the song BAHUSHA O CHANCHALA….it is complete treat to watch…the cinematographer fails big time when it comes to capture the regular scenes but his work is highly commendable when it comes to capture action sequences….editing should have been crisp….the movie clearly made on a grand scale….the producer had spent so much of money in the process of filming this one….
FINAL WORD:the movie dips intially but try to gain momentum after some point of time, but the damage is all done upto that time…the premise and climax of the movie are very weak….overall one can easily give this one a miss….

in one word varudu is the film which can be compared with a person, who neither had a right HEART or MIND…..
TYPICAL CONTRASTS…..
I personally belive world mostly consists of peoplewho tries to fix an image and identity for any other one around them….but the most important thing that they didn’t observe that their image and identity are already being tagged.The people tag you by missing the only logic that they are being tagged by the same person whom you tag….
Lots of people around you,
Lots of perceptions,
Lots of opinions….resulting in lots of tags…But the right way of leading life is to tag in many different ways than to tag in one way….Don’t allow all the peopleto tag you in the same way and same image for you….suprise everyone by not letting them to tag you in one way…I personally like to show lot of contrast in the way I lead my Life…
I had written this post just for the sake of my friends…..who are writting lots of comments,through the comment section of this blog telling that they are suprised to see me writting about different aspects of life….guys I am the same one whom you see daily but with a different tag which myself tied around my world…………
MARO CHARITHRA MOVIE REVIEW……..
first things first….maro charithra surely tests ur patience.…remaking classics is always a tough job….cinematographer turned director RAVI YADAV fails to create any impact on the audience….the director cleverly shifted the entire premise of the story to USA to give a fresh feel to the movie…..visually the movie is on par excellence,the director(cinematographer) beautifully captured all the virgin locales of usa…..but completely fails in holding the intrest of audience….
PERFORMANCES:VARUN SANDESH as balu fails this time….he is alright in the casual scenes …but when it come to playing pathetetic scenes he is completely out of place….his delivery is bit irritating at times…debutant ANITA had good screen presence but she didnt look as a heroine material as she dont hav a good face….less said about her performance is better…..shraddha das had a brief role but she carried it very well…she had tremondrous screen presence….senior actors like naresh,kota,pratap pothan are adequate…the lady who played as mother OF the hero is hilarous….
DIRECTION:ravi yadav fails big time with his debut vehicle….neither the movie is feel good nor engaging….the charecters look amatuerish at many times and tests the audience patience…but his camera work is fantastic…..better luck next time…
OTHER DEPARTMENTS:music by mickey j mayer is alright…but not upto the mark…but the back ground score is very good and it tried to lift the mood of the film…but the direction department didnt give him that chance….dialogues by umergi should have been much much better…many lines told by lead pair are cliched and fall flat….production values by dil raju are top notch….
FINALWORD:its better that our film makers stop remaking the yester years classics…ace film maker like ram gopal varma failed to create any impact by his AAG(remake of sholay)….
WATCh IT AT YOUR OWN RISK….
P.S:the only one film maker who had tasted success big time in recent times is my favourite ANURAG KASHYAP(remaking devdas as DEV D)….BIG THUMBS UP for anurag kashyap and big thumbs down for dil raju n team…
